Staffing Match are proud to be working in partnership with one of the UK's leading retail logistics companies based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, NG17, who are looking for warehouse operatives to join their team.
The Warehouse is located just off of the M1 J28, on the A38.
About the role as a Warehouse Operative:
- Shift times: 11:00 -19:00
- Working any 5 days out of 7 on a rolling rota, with 2 days off together (Must be flexible to work weekends)
- £8.72 per hour on day shifts (£9.72 Overtime Rate) - Increasing to £9.94 after 12 weeks (£14.91 Overtime Rate)
- Weekend premiums are paid after 12 weeks service
- Opportunities to be paid the after 12 weeks pay rates early, if performance targets are achieved ahead of schedule
- Full Training Provided - No Experience required
- You will be picking using a llop and voice activated headset - full training and support provided
- Secure ongoing positions - this is not seasonal work
- You must be willing to work in a chilled environment
Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative:
- Working in an extremely busy and fast paced environment
- Reading labels and ensuring stock is distributed to the correct areas
- Order picking, checking & labelling
- Working towards set daily productivity targets
- General warehouse duties
The ideal Warehouse Operative profile:
- Ideally you will have warehouse / picking experience - however this is not essential
- Great attention to detail
- Reliable with a desire to succeed
- Target driven / motivated
- Good English communication
- Initiative and the ability to solve problems
